Iconic album by fingerpicking maestro John Fahey. Incredible vision and creativity and hard to believe this was released in 1965...it has it all - slide, picking, drone, dissonance.

As Pete Townsend said, 'he created his own language.' That language became known as American primitive guitar. While remaining somewhat of an anomaly, the list of devotees and influences ranged from Sonic Youth to Steve Gunn. Highly recommended.
